The Gipper

Am I the only one who thinks that McCain's new ad calling Obama nothing but an celebrity is hypocritical for a candidate and a party that throws President Reagan's name in our face every chance they get?

He was an actual celebrity. Movie roles, actress wife, product endorsements, and yet the republican party thinks he turned out okay.

BTW -- Paris Hilton's mom is pissed about that ad, I guess she won't be writing any more checks to the McCain campaign. Hmmmm...I wonder how much of the money they donated went into the ad? Just desserts if you ask me.

Ronald Reagan? The actor!? Then who's vice-president, Jerry Lewis? I suppose Jane Wyman is the First Lady? And Jack Benny is Secretary of the Treasury!

Ah, good ol' Doc Brown.

Martini, we are so kindred in our back to the future obsession, lol.

T-Dude, Reagan was a great president, no doubt he had faults but they all did! I think slandering Mccain for his age is pretty low too, I mean is that all they can think of! The obama slander about being a celebrity really does make mccain look bad and I wish they hadn't gone so low!

I have to go with the Daily Show on this topic of who was or wasn't a good president. As John Stewart recently pointed out, "remember when hated President George Herbert Walker Bush? Now he seems kinds like a good guy in comparison."

I was absolutely no fan of Reagan. But given the opportunity I'd switch out W. Bush for Reagan in an instant. Now that is a sad sad statement.

Have you seen Paris' new video yet? I can't stand her, but I had one of those "haha, good for her" thoughts when I saw it.
